It’s an in-depth peek into the life and mind of brilliant American photographer Charles Gatewood, whose work explored subcultures pushing the boundaries of sexual and personal expression, as well as the rise of tattoo and body modification, long before it hit the mainstream and became a cultural movement known as “Modern Primitives”.
